Barrel Dimpling Service

Description

A good way to help reduce barrel weight while keeping the thicker profiling is to have your barrel Dimpled.  Dimpling will also give you more surface area to help with cooling.  This pattern has offset rows of Dimples to help keep them as tight as possible while still keeping enough material to allow it to stay rigid.

AS OF 9-25-23 a new variation will be added which is better suited for lightened barrels to allow for a deeper dimple using a smaller endmill.  What this means is you will have more dimples per row and they won’t need to be as deep for a good look.  Ideally this can be used for a lightweight barrel to get the dimples to show better or a heavier barrel to keep some diameter under the dimples but can be used on a normal profile barrel to have a deep pattern.  Either option works, just let me know in the description when you check out if it’s a custom dimpling depth.

Pricing is based on the length of the barrel primarily.  If your barrel length isn’t listed go to the next length up.  I.E.  a 11.3 inch barrel would be considered a 11.5 inch barrel or a 13.5 inch barrel would be considered a 14.5 inch barrel.

Longer length barrels require 2 setups which takes significantly longer to do.  16.5 is the longest I can do in one pass.  Any longer requires a second setup.
